Sonak surface technologies pvt.ltd. has an advanced facility to do OD & ID hard chroming & partial Hard chroming on piston shafts, rollers and cylinders up to12m length and 2 m diameter. We are specialized in reconditioning / rebuilding of any high precision machine components to particular specifications. Hard chrome plating quality requirements varies depends on applications of the material. Hard Chrome can be applied to all types of stainless steel alloys, most ferrous metals, and some nonferrous metals including copper and brass. RESISTANCE :-

• Hard chrome plating is resistant to virtually all chemicals with a few exceptions.

Base Material We can Hard Chrome Plate :-

• All types of steel (including hardened, nitrated and stainless steel)
• Chill cast iron (all other types casting )
• Copper

• Hardness 62 to 70 HRC (750 -1150 HV)
• Melting Point 1850°C – 1900 °C
• plating Thickness Possible (up to 1 mm)
• High Wear Resistance
• Good co-efficient of friction
• Definable surface (from very fine to rough, from matt to high -gloss)
• Can be re-machined mechanically (Grinding and Polishing etc.)
• Work piece can be re-conditioned several times
• Low processing temperature (geometrically precise parts are not warped)
• Very small to very large workpieces can be plated.
